Your Sweet Leaf plant hails from Paraguay and it is a cousin of sunflowers. You can use the leaves of your Sweet Leaf plant to sweeten applesauce, smoothies, custards, bread puddings, pies, and more! After a quick and easy planting, the Sweet Leaf plant will sprout in 1 to 2 weeks. Pinch off the tips of newly grown stems to encourage bushier growth in your plants. Do this every 3 to 4 weeks for the first couple of months after planting. You can harvest the leaves as soon as they grow.
